Report Writing - by Lyrik

In this picture I'm reporting about Japan. In Japan they had a very sad day because they first had an earthquake and then that was followed by a tsunami. That was very deadly. It was very scary because they gave us a warning on TV. Then my whole family and me had a sit down and talk about what we had to do, when we had to do it, like when we should evacuate our house and get into our cars as soon as possible, if it happened here in Tamaki.

Softball Day - by Tienira

On Wednesday, Miss Sayers took twenty four children to the Softball Day. One half was the Under 10s team and the other half was the Over 10s team. The Under 10s won two games and the Over 10s won three games. I think that the Under 10s did well and the Overs did well too. At the final game we all worked as a team and I think that we deserved a treat because we did well at the game.

Happy Duffy Day - by Tienira

On Thursday Panmure Bridge School had a Special Assembly and that was a Duffy Assembly. Every time it is Duffy Assembly I always get excited because the whole class gets to have free Duffy books. When we got back to class two people gave out the books. Everybody got two books each. For my Duffy books I got books about Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber. I really enjoy reading these books.

Water Everywhere- by Trinity

This is an image of a pipe with water that's thrown up out of the hole in the pipe. There was water everywhere and all the water was rushing down the hill that was right next to it. It was gushing down the hill as fast as a speeding bullet.

Measuring Time - by Tienira

In this photo, you can see Chevy and me trying to draw a very long line in our books. When we did this activity I learnt that while we were doing this, it is like we were working as a team. I also learnt that the string that Miss Day gave to me is the same height as my inner elbow and my shoulder. This activity really help me with my maths and I think that I've improved in maths.

The Running of the Kapahaka Kids By Kane

On Thursday 31st March Tamati Coffey came to Room 6 to do his weather presentation in our class. After he did the weather, we had to stay quiet. We did 5 performances for Tamati. Our last one was when we all ran down to our Panmure Bridge School sign to perform the Haka. We ran on the cold grass and someone said they couldn't feel their feet as they were numb. It was fun.

Room 6 Interrogates Tamati - By Tienira

Room 6 Interrogates Tamati! from TheseKidsRock! on Vimeo.

In this video you will see Room 6 interrogating Tamati and asking him a lot of questions, mostly about when he was on 'What Now'. Some people asked excellent questions. My favourite part was when he said that they got to dress up as a cheerleader and walk into town with the costume on! I think Tamati really liked that question. I hope that he comes and visits Panmure Bridge School again. I hope that you enjoy watching this move of Tamati and Room6.

Poi-E with Tamati Coffey -By Lavinia and Tyla

Hooray! Panmure Bridge School's Kapahaka group got to perform in front of the whole world on live broadcast TV for Breakfast Weather News with Tamati Coffey. We had to do a Kapahaka Poi performance to the song Poi-e. Some of the Kapahaka group didn't get the poi so the teachers decided to make them dance to the song Poi-e and the girls with the pois did a little pukana to the television video camera. Our Kapahaka group had a really fun time and we wish everybody could experience with us what we did!

The Weather Appears!!! By Jahvana

Rm 6 Weather Report on Breakfast Weather with Tamati from TheseKidsRock! on Vimeo.

Hi, my name is Jahvana and this is the WEATHER CREW. If you didn't know, our crew was on T.V. presenting our WEATHER for the day. As you can see, we had to practise and practise for the amazing day to come. I thought that we deserved McDonald's because we only had one day to rehearse and because we got up so early to be on T.V. To tell you the truth, I felt like going back to bed for waking up at like 5.00 or 6.00 in the morning and I'm sure Miss Day was tired herself too (she had to get up at 4am!)...But never the less I enjoyed the awesome cheerful day...

Tamati and My Super Duper Artwork! By Tiaan

Hi, my name is Tiaan and in this video Tamati, Adam, and I were talking about my artwork. Oops! Sorry I did not tell you about Tamati Coffey being at our school . Yes, that was what I said Tamati came to PBS and talked to me, and on top of that I was on One Breakfast Weather News. At the end Tamati pulled a really bad joke, but that did not stop one of the best moments in my entire life time.

Hello my name is Tiaan and I go to a great school - Panmure Bridge School! These two twins Quaid and Kyra are close to me in friendship. I think that the apple crumble they ate must've been delicious! Why were they eating apple cumble on Friday, you ask? Well they were eating it because their lovely teacher gave them lots of apples and told them to make an apple crumble as a joke but they took her seriously and made one and ate it with her!
