Room6 is acting like Texans because they came to our school. They came on a Rotary visit and loved being at our school and gave us lots of Texan Lone Star stickers which we put on our faces. They were going back to Texas, so we wanted to farewell them like they were back in Texas.

It felt freezing cold. It was like iced water. I was as fast as a speeding bullet... like an eel gushing down a stream. This is me at Swimming Sports for the 100 meter race. I came 4th! The whole school went to swimming sports - it was really fun and exciting.

Every Tuesday Rooms five, six and seven have T-ball practice with Cola in the afternoon. Cola is a very well trained coach. He coaches us and he is the coach of the New Zealand players. I have learnt a lot from him and I think that he is the King of T-ball!

On Wednesday we all had to play soccer. First we had to dribble the ball and we started to learn some tricks. When we finished learning the basic skills, we played another terrific game of soccer. All of the naughty people had to run around the field without stopping and I am sure that the good people learnt from the naughty people! Don't be naughty!

On Thursday the police came to our school, because on Wednesday morning at 3.00 am, Room 6 was broken into. This Constable Collin is showing us evidence! This will help the police find the bad people who stole our two computers.

Hi, my name is Nicola, and this is a piece of cardboard that has been coloured, dyed and pictures stuck to it also been written on. This poster is all about me, while I was making this poster it was different in exciting way! It was fun! Doing the colour dye was awesome and messy!!!!

The Chocolate Makers - by Kane

On this awesome day our group won our prize - it was making chocolate! Our whole group walked over to the school kitchen with Miss Day. When we got there, Miss Day talked to us on how you make chocolate. Miss Day had a big bag of chocolate and a two way pot - the bottom half had hot water and the top had a lot of yummy chocolate in it. Miss Day put the pot on the hot element on the stove. After a few seconds Miss Day told one of us to go and stir the melted chocolate. When that was finished we had to get into groups of 3. Each group got one spoon. We got a little plastic thing with cool shapes in it: there was a bunny, eggs - 2 big ones and lots of little eggs with little zigzags and stripes. Miss Day got the pot of chocolate and put it on the bench in front of us. We picked up our spoon and got a spoon full of chocolate and put it in the plastic mould and then we put it in the fridge. At the end we got to eat some chocolate. It was an awesome day!
