Writing By Nicola

Hi, it's me - Nicola. I am writing about the art I have done. The day was actually last Thursday. I was at my desk, because not only do I like writing, it is part of school! I like writing because I get to use a pen or pencil, and I like to try and make my writing look neat and easy to read! In this picture I was using a pencil when I should have been using a pen. Oops!

My Maths Quilt - By Nicola

Hi, my name is Nicola as most of you should know now. This is my maths quilt, the class got to
go on the class computers at different times so they can pick their photos of pets, the food they like, movies, games, well its pretty much about them on their math quilt. I had to draw my mum, dad, sister, brother, because I did not really want to use a family photo from home. The best bit was doing the colour dye.

Base ball by Nicola

Hi, my name is Nicola and my class room 6 at Panmure Bridge school are playing base ball! Room 6 starts base ball at 2.15 in the afternoon. Our base ball teacher has a name called Cola - some kid's call, "co co Cola!" Every Tuesday I look forward to playing base ball because it is a very energetic game! Sometimes I like to pose when I get my photo taken, but not all the time.

About Me! By Nicola

Hi, my name is Nicola, and this is a piece of cardboard that has been coloured, dyed and pictures stuck to it also been written on. This poster is all about me, while I was making this poster it was different in exciting way! It was fun! Doing the colour dye was awesome and messy!!!!

Funky Body Measurement by Nicola

Hi, my name is Nicola. This black and white picture you can see me holding is my maths scrap book. I'm holding it in front of a camera. The person taking this picture is my teacher, Miss Day. On my maths book there is a picture of a stick girl who has a fringe like me! As you can see this picture is finished, just not the writing about..... Our body measurement! I find body measurement really really super fun!

Eek! Our Teacher is a Monster! by Miss Day

Actually, when Room 6 saw this dyed self-portrait I quickly did of myself, they said I looked like Fiona, from the movie 'Shrek'. Thanks kids!!

Thankfully, my class are much better artists than I am, and have produced some amazing work. Two pieces that have impressed me are Nicola's pencil sketch of herself and Puke's self-portrait dyed face. Keep up the great work, Room 6!

Look out in the coming weeks for other Room 6 artists showing off their self-portrait posters on our blog.
