It was Thursday night on the Parent's Computer Evening. My brother and I were playing chess with Andrew. Then the adults went into the theater. My brother, Andrew and I raced to the table of delicious food. We grabbed a lot of food. When the adults came back they knew the the kids struck the table....
This is our favourite Student Teacher, Mrs Hiddleston, who has taught us for the last 5 weeks. She sadly left on Friday and we miss her already! We hope she comes back and visits us soon.
When I lined up to get on the train I felt like a car racer but on a train. When my time was up and I got off I felt like a loser because I wanted to live in the Waitakeres.
It was as if New Zealand had won the Fifa World Cup in South Africa. The most incredible goal in New Zealand's history was made by some of the world's best soccer players, even better than Wynton Rufer! The winning goal was shot by Rory Fallon. The crowd went suddenly quiet and there was no kind of movement...It was a goal!!! It flipped out of the goalie's hands and into the goal.
This is Lavinia and me pouring water into our rock pool that my team and I made. We made this in about 5-10 minutes. I’m the one with the scarf around my neck and the one with my hand around the front of the sprinkler. The competition was to try and stop the water from going down the drain using rocks. Unfortunately our team lost but I still thought that my team did well.
Sandwiches: as delicious and wonderful as it seems, a lot of effort is put into one of these small snacks. My favourite part of today was making and eating my sandwich. In my sandwich was avocado, tuna, lettuce and cheese. I loved the taste of my sandwich. The look of my sandwich made me want to eat it up straight away. I could not really smell it. That is why I loved this day.
The competition of making the most healthy sandwich is at hand. Miss Day has already brought the ingredients to make the sandwich, which was filled with carcass-looking chicken, greenish green lettuce, bloody red corned beef and orange carrots. One minute later, chomp! “What a delicious sandwich!"
