Every Tuesday Rooms five, six and seven have T-ball practice with Cola in the afternoon. Cola is a very well trained coach. He coaches us and he is the coach of the New Zealand players. I have learnt a lot from him and I think that he is the King of T-ball!

On Wednesday we all had to play soccer. First we had to dribble the ball and we started to learn some tricks. When we finished learning the basic skills, we played another terrific game of soccer. Hi, this is Tiaan's foot, and we drew it with Mrs Walters. We had to trace around our foot with pen and then cut it out. The coolest part was when we had to see how big our foot is. We had to cut out six of them and found out that they are the same height as our whole body.

On this awesome day our group won our prize - it was making chocolate! Our whole group walked over to the school kitchen with Miss Day. When we got there, Miss Day talked to us on how you make chocolate. Miss Day had a big bag of chocolate and a two way pot - the bottom half had hot water and the top had a lot of yummy chocolate in it. Miss Day put the pot on the hot element on the stove. After a few seconds Miss Day told one of us to go and stir the melted chocolate. When that was finished we had to get into groups of 3. Each group got one spoon. We got a little plastic thing with cool shapes in it: there was a bunny, eggs - 2 big ones and lots of little eggs with little zigzags and stripes. Miss Day got the pot of chocolate and put it on the bench in front of us. We picked up our spoon and got a spoon full of chocolate and put it in the plastic mould and then we put it in the fridge. At the end we got to eat some chocolate. It was an awesome day!

On Wednesday, Miss Sayers took twenty four children to the Softball Day. One half was the Under 10s team and the other half was the Over 10s team. The Under 10s won two games and the Over 10s won three games. I think that the Under 10s did well and the Overs did well too. At the final game we all worked as a team and I think that we deserved a treat because we did well at the game.

On Thursday Panmure Bridge School had a Special Assembly and that was a Duffy Assembly. Every time it is Duffy Assembly I always get excited because the whole class gets to have free Duffy books. When we got back to class two people gave out the books. Everybody got two books each. For my Duffy books I got books about Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber. I really enjoy reading these books.

In this photo, you can see Chevy and me trying to draw a very long line in our books. When we did this activity I learnt that while we were doing this, it is like we were working as a team. On Thursday, all the people in Room 6 who were singing on National television came early to put the leis on. The boys wore the green leis and the girls wore the white leis, and each of us had a Jandal as a ukulele. Some were big and some were small. When the girls wore the white leis all of the boys wanted to wear the white leis too because of their beautiful white color.

Hooray! Panmure Bridge School's Kapahaka group got to perform in front of the whole world on live broadcast TV for Breakfast Weather News with Tamati Coffey. We had to do a Kapahaka Poi performance to the song Poi-e. Some of the Kapahaka group didn't get the poi so the teachers decided to make them dance to the song Poi-e and the girls with the pois did a little pukana to the television video camera. Our Kapahaka group had a really fun time and we wish everybody could experience with us what we did!

On the 31st of March Tamati Coffey came to Panmure Bridge School. In Room 6 when Tamati Coffey came, people were giving him hi 5s and they were crowding around him. In this picture you can see two wigs a jandal and a comb that Jahvana and Suliasi wore for their item. After Tamati Coffey presented the weather with Suliasi, Suliasi got o interview him and shouted, ''It's question time!'' and Tamati shouted, ''hard questions!'' so we asked him hard questions and when kids asked him questions Suliasi would pick them and he would say, ''that boy with the hair cut or the girl with the scarf.''After asking him questions Tamati Coffey was dancing with us to the song 'All the Single Ladies'.

We found out that the TV show called Family Guy was the favourite TV show. American Dad was the least favourite TV show. Twelve students voted for Family Guy. Six students voted for American Idol. Family Guy won by 11 votes.

Jandal Man and his sidekick, Sandal Man, are out in the New Zealand bush hunting for some meat to BBQ. Jandal Man's 'boomer-jandal' is so effective that he manages to kill a gorilla - which you can't actually find in the wild in NZ (just as well it wasn't a protected Kiwi!)...Then, whilst sheltering from the weather under trees, Sandal Man (who is not known for his bravery) is attacked by Maori warriors, also out hunting. Little did they know that their traditional patu and taiaha weaponry was no match for Jandal Man's jandals!

Hi, my name is Jahvana and this is the WEATHER CREW. If you didn't know, our crew was on T.V. presenting our WEATHER for the day. As you can see, we had to practise and practise for the amazing day to come. I thought that we deserved McDonald's because we only had one day to rehearse and because we got up so early to be on T.V. To tell you the truth, I felt like going back to bed for waking up at like 5.00 or 6.00 in the morning and I'm sure Miss Day was tired herself too (she had to get up at 4am!)...But never the less I enjoyed the awesome cheerful day...

On Wednesday it was the softball tournament vs other schools around Panmure. Miss Sayers took 24 students to Dunkirk Reserve. 12 were in each team; an under 10 team and an over 10 team. We got this bat for participating in the softball tournament . We lost 2 games and won 4 games. We came fourth in the softball tournament.

Last week our class got robbed and two of our computers got stolen by two boys and one girl. There were marks on the computers and our class window was smashed and we had to go to the hall until our class was clean. Trinity and I went to room 1 and after morning tea we went back to class.

I felt like a Maori chief when I was leading the haka. My responsibility was that I had to get my timing right for when I start my words for the haka. When I got the bit for me to say the haka words, I was the only one that put my hand up. It took a lot of practice for me to get the haka right. Our Maori Teacher Whaea Raewyn was the one who had to get everything ready. I really appreciate what she did for us - thank you.

On Friday 18th the Kapahaka group did a practice in front of Room 6 and we gave it our all. Some of the group was frightened to do it for the first time in front of an audience. They was just staring at us and Miss Day and Tienera were filming us. When Paenganui used his loud voice for the Haka, I think Miss Day was frightened and some of Room 6 was too. I think some of Room 6 jumped up from where they were sitting. At the end of the performance everyone was clapping for the group, and then we did it again but with more excitement. It was awesome.

On Monday 28th February Rooms 6/7/5/and 8 went to the Panmure Pools. We got to go on the hydroslide. It was a teriffic day. We had an awesome time - there were screaming people, just because they were excited. In this video there are people going down the hydroslide, showing their confidence by going down. The best part when we were waiting was we saw people just standing there being very patient. It was an awesome day...
