Why Jandals?? Well, we all wear them here in Aotearoa - they're cheap and cool and come in funky colours! Also because this year in Room 6 at Panmure Bridge School, we have been studying water. We love swimming at the beach in summer. Surf Life Savers make us all feel safe in the water. They wear jandals and have National Jandal Day on December 3rd. It is a fundraiser to help them to keep doing a great job at saving kiwis in the water. Please support them! So in Room 6 we've been thinking all year of all the wonderful and crazy uses for jandals. I really liked your movie about Boy because I thought you actually had better dance moves then Boy. My best part was how the mum went and cut the cake with the jandal.

ReplyDeleteWow! Room 6 your movie was one of my favourite movies out of all the movies that played yesterday. I was a presenter for Saint Pius X school, and having to watch your movie twice was just awesome. As soon as I asked my parents what was their favourite movie, I was expecting them to say Rewind(the movie I was involed with) but no they didn't, they said that their favourite was your movie. So it just shows that you guys pleased a lot of people.

I was representing Saint Pius X School by being a presenter and I'm really lucky because it was a great pleasure to watch one of my favourite movies at the Manaiakalani Film Festival twice. Well now I know that jandals are not only for your feet but are also useful for making fruit bowls.
After the night session yesterday I asked my Mum and my cousin's what was their favourite movie. I was expecting them to say 'REWIND' but when thay exclaimed 'Jandle Man' I was so shocked that they didn't say what I was expecting and hoping.
As my teacher Miss G always says that she's crossing her fingers, her toes and her heart I am now gonna cross them and hope that more of your fabulous movies appear on your blog. Now I know to always check your blog for more interesting work.
